Bob Gansler comes to Charlotte United!

The recent Bob Gansler Clinic was a great success. On June 15-16th, Charlotte United had a fantastic opportunity to have Bob Gansler come out and put on a coaching clinic for the CUFC coaching staff at Waddell Language School. Our coaches were treated to a full range of Bob’s extensive knowledge and experience. On Friday evening, Bob held a Q&A session at Providence Day High School. He spoke on many topics, ranging from U10 development to the current Euro 2012 tournament. On Saturday, our coaching staff attended three excellent field sessions at Waddell Stadium Field. The topics covered attacking principles, defensive principles, and transition play. Gansler is the former US Men's National Team coach and coached the 1990 World Cup team and also led the Kansas City Wizards to a MLS Cup in 2000 and a US Open Cup in 2004. The feedback from coaches was very positive. Besides his brilliant coaching techniques and advice, they enjoyed his enthusiasm and sense of humor. CUFC could not have asked for a better coaching clinic.
