A Day at the Levine Children's Hospital
Date Posted: 2/4/2013
Charlotte United Directors of Coaching and Staff recently travelled to Levine Children's Hospital to honor it's President, Martha Whitecotton. After presenting Ms. Whitecotton with a framed Charlotte United player jersey, the CUFC staff was taken on a very inspiring tour of the Children's Hospital. Their spirits were lifted as they had the opportunity to meet with patients, physiotherapists, nurses and physicians. While visiting on one of the floors, the staff met with several of the children who are receiving care at Levine. CUFC Staff members had a great time interacting with the patients and brought soccer balls, jerseys and book bags to hand out to them. It was such an overwhelming experience to see the smiles on the children's faces as they put on their new jersey, or kicked their new ball. Lastly, the staff experienced first hand the wonderful care that is provided at Levine Children's Hospital and what a privalege it was to have had the opportunity to visit.
