STATE CUP CHAMPS!

They did it! Congratulations to our THREE State Cup Champions for 2011-12! 97 Gold G, 94 One7 and 93 Gold all walked away with hardware and will proceed to their respective Regional events!
It was indeed a tremendous weekend - seven total teams qualified for Final Four spots and three walked away champions!
97 Gold G
The 97 Girls won the U14 State Championship on Sunday beating CSA Predator 2-0 with goals from Emily Nelson & Marnie Bonn. The girls were deserving winners and now head to Regionals in Greenville, SC. CONGRATULATIONS to the 97 Gold on becoming STATE CHAMPIONS for 2012!
94 One7
The 94 One7 boys walked away champions at U17 after beating a Twin City YSA team 3-1 in the finals! These boys played with tremendous heart, passion and skills which allowed them to achieve their goal of a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!
93 Gold
The 93 Gold boys arrived at the State Cup Finals for the third year in a row. Winning i all in 2010 and losing a heart breaker in 2011 lit a fire in their bellies. Going down 1-0 in the first half, the boys fought back and showcased their talent by scoring two unanswered goals to win another State Championship 2-1!
